Born and raised on the Westside of Cincinnati, where family values and doing what's right are most important, Matt's down-home upbringing is reflected in the songs that he sings. But don't expect him to sit on a stool in the corner and quietly play his music. With over a hundred songs in his growing repertoire, Matt can rock out or mellow out depending on the venue and the mood of the audience. Expect to hear a lot of Country and Classic Rock that's fun to listen to and tells a good story. Matt has played guitar for over twenty years, has been singing for more than ten, has pursued a degree in jazz saxophone at UC's College Conservatory of Music, and is now a professional musician, and a pro is what Matt is. Don’t expect a drunken comedian with a guitar who occasionally plays a song between off-color jokes, jager-bombs, and 45-minute breaks.
